These photos are from a preserved tugboat appropriately named the Holland built
in 1951. It is immaculately preserved and still licensed to work and carry up
to 80 passengers as a coastal waters ferry. However, her most notable point
is that she has an identical Verkspoor engine to the Ross Revenge. The captain
of the ship was somewhat surprised, as amongst the displays around the ship
he had a list of ships fitted with the same engine, and the Ross was not listed.
He was of the opinion that his was the only one left. The photos show what can
be done to an old engine.
