• Education: Mixed sex school. Went to the school with his sister. Al the boys were expelled after fighting and school also ceased taking boys, 1935, Convent School.

• Education, 1939, Roan Grammer School, Grenwich.

• Move: Evacuation to Wales at start of WWII where billeted with a very strict Methodist Church older couple. Mother went and fetched from Wales and brought hom back to Welling, Bet Sep 1939 and Nov 1939, Wales.

• Move: Evacuation to Somerset with another family to secure and care for rare items from the Maritime Museum, FROM 1940 TO ABT 1944, Dunster Castle, Somerset, England.

• Occupation: Royal Navy , National Service, Electrical Mechanic,CMX916707Leading HandCompleted service as Acting Petty Officer, from 1952 to 1954, HMAS Rocket, Anti Submarine Frigate, based in Northern Ireland.

Geoffrey married Muriel Kathleen Halsey, daughter of George F W Halsey and Vida Ada Ellen Levy, in 1952 in Sidcup, Kent, England, United Kingdom. (Muriel Kathleen Halsey was born on 24 Jul 1929 in Wandsworth, England, died on 27 Jun 2016 in West Lakes, Adelaide and was buried in Enfield Memorial Park, Clearview, South Australia, Australia.)
